Bill Savvy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice within the Service or sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Bill Savvy is an AI-powered financial technology application that helps consumers identify potential savings on recurring bills. The Service provides tools for bill tracking, analysis, savings research, and personalized recommendations.

2.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes basic bill tracking and categorization, limited bill analysis, and general savings tips. Free tier features may be modified or updated at any time.

2.2 Premium Subscription

The premium subscription ($7.99/month) provides advanced AI-powered savings research, personalized action plans, rate monitoring, and priority support. Premium features are subject to change with reasonable notice to subscribers.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

IMPORTANT: Bill Savvy is NOT a financial advisor, broker, or licensed financial services provider. The Service provides information and suggestions for educational and informational purposes only.

The savings estimates, recommendations, and analyses provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific financial situation. You should independently verify all information and consult with qualified financial professionals before making financial decisions.

Bill Savvy does not negotiate with service providers on your behalf, guarantee any specific savings amounts, or have any direct relationship with the providers whose services you may analyze through our platform.

6. Billing and Payments

6.1 Subscription Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at the then-current rate. Billing begins on the date you subscribe and recurs on the same date each subsequent month. All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

6.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6.3 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice.

6.4 Free Trial

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the standard rate.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Bill Savvy, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

8. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of any data, documents, or information you upload to the Service (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analyses, recommendations, and other content. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated content is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy or completeness
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content
AI models may produce different results for similar inputs over time
We continuously work to improve our AI systems but cannot guarantee error-free output

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bill Savvy, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
Any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated recommendations
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
Any financial decisions made based on information provided by the Service

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Bill Savvy does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bill Savvy, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process such requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at legal@billsavvy.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

14.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14.3 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

14.4 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

15. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver: The failure of either party to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
